Resume Tip: Use of Salary History
Although using salary history on your resume may sound right and logical to you, unfortunately from a professional resume standpoint it's incorrect. Modern resume concepts strongly recommend omitting salary or salary history from your resume.

Here's why:
1. Showing salary information on the resume is considered to be in poor taste. It can create an impression that you are ostentatious, showy--a braggart. Such practice lacks a certain touch of subtlety, diplomacy, and class.

2. Employers are interested in your accomplishments and contributions, not your cost. By including salary information on the resume, you draw attention to your cost instead of to your potential value. As a result, you may never reach the interview stage and forfeit the opportunity to personally convince the prospective employer that you're really worth it.

3. Inclusion of salary history may give the impression that you are "money hungry."

4. Most importantly, premature disclosure of salary or salary requirements may automatically screen you from consideration for a position in which you might have considerable interest. Many people have taken lateral moves or slight salary decreases to accept positions offering considerable long-term advancement opportunity.

1:30 PM :: Meet them at Kallang, drive them to KFC cause got free parking ...tok anything under the sun ..and finally back to my home for surfing the net again.

Today is a rainy day, finally it rains....and I wonder how my car is getting on .......

5:10 pm. Finally the car is done, change here and change there ....cost me $188 including towing of the car and my uncle even help me to scratch away the cemet that kenna sabo from some lorry weeks ago.

Rykiel and Chantelle is at my place to surf the net especially when C's PC has passed away. . . . . . :P

Dam .....my car is not giving a good air con since yestersday ...wonder is it under bright sun light for too long that cause it to be over heated, and today it suddenly stop in the middle of the rood and tells me that it is overheated.....alamak !!!!! smoke come out from front cover of the car and we all smell something is burning. Oh my god......

No choice have to cancel all my appointment today while waiting for the car-tower to drag my car back to my uncle's car workshop.... *sob* *sob* . . . .

What a bad sunday.

I just got my transcript from my Bach. Degree ...saying that my GPA is only 1.94

Wonder if that is good enough to get a better job.

sigh ~ ~ another day without job again.

I was offer a job for $1700, 24 hour standby and no overtime pay. The contract is bond for 6 month as when I was to leave within the period, I will have to compensate the company for the remaing sum of my salary ...how does that sound, wish to gather more feedback from your guys .. sigh ~ ~ so headache . . .

A brand new day again ...dam. Traffic Police finally enforce that all rear seat belt has to be on, if not 120 dollars fine and 3 demerit point.

Just discover that a JPEG file in normal web server view by MS OS and Mac OS is totally different .....sigh again ...have to think for a solution to solve this issue. But at least I got someone to accompany me for a tea break this afternoon..:)

Finally, have to rush for tonite meeting with the PHP programmers and Linux Administrator for mock up screen. Wonder can spend some time to play online games and idle for a while ?? .....hmm ....mmm. ...i think i suppose to meet up with a pretty gal in this afternoon ...give her a call now.

Today is a totally boring day, since I only got 4 hour sleep from last nite ACTIVITIES, totally couldn't sleep in day time ....sigh ~ ~ ~ maybe is time to hunt for some gals to kill time.
