Shit man, my SQL Server backup tape behave abnormal again. Wonder whether is the old tape problem or the file size too huge. Had ask the person-in-charge to purchase another 2 new tape for Mon/Tues and inform the Tech Support Helpdesk to monitor.

Last nite, our Curtin old classmates met up at Mr Bean Cafe for dinner and chit chat. Manage to take some digital photos. Our session ends around 11pm and I head down to Mohd Sultan to meet Chantelle, Rykiel and Robin cause Robin is flying back tomorrow...in fact in a few hours time. We have some great time and I had to went back around 1 am.
Finally this morning, I manage to get my USB port working again and connect the Nikon CoolPix 2500 to my comp. and upload my first picture of the month. It is a keychain that I bought when I went over to Perth in 2001.
The next picture is my new work station after the renovation, dun blame me for being messy cause I really very busy with lots of request and complain from users.

Out of sudden....no idea wat to blog cause need to tidy up my life. Sigh ~ ~ just thinking how to clear my remaining 3 day leave in this small island.
I just recall I was being offer a 2 way ticket from SIN to MEL at a good price of $400. But it must be travelled before end of March this year. Tempted to buy but thinking of going alone to there is too bore.
Morever, one of lady boss telling me that there will be a chance for me to go to Japan with them if they manage to organise a big group of tour to there. hee hee .....looking forward for it.

I'm back yesterday afternoon and had a bad weekend spent over there.
Went to Pub "The Peak" around 11pm, playing pool with the driver and the groups decided to switch to disco.
The disco is call "Club Coin", full of Singaporean and chicks with lots of bengs and lians.
Song is not bad just that never seen a disco playing chinese, malay songs and weird dancer on the table. and even invite a birthday boy to sing song on the stage....
Sigh ~ ~ stay around until 4 am then return to hotel with a tired leg...and guess wat...slept until around 6 am and my leg cramp...idiot...couldn't sleep anymore and decided to keep massaging my leg until 8am for breakfast.
Went around to shop for something but no mood. Manage to buy:

First day back to work is already an unpleasant feeling. But didn't know that a lot of things doesn't go well in 2003. I was just thinking I need to give up something in order to gain back some thing. But can it be done?

I read a story which is very touching and wanted to share with all of you.
This is very sweet and sad and will make you think - A good reminder : "Take time to appreciate what you have now."
On the last day before Christmas, I hurried to go to the supermarket to buy the remaining of the gifts I didn't manage to buy earlier. When I saw all the people there, I started to complain to myself, "It is going to take forever here and I still have so many other places to go.
Christmas really is getting more and more annoying every year. How I wish I could just lie down, go to sleep and only wake up after it..." Nonetheless, made my way to the toy section, and there I started to curse the prices, wondering if after all kids really play with such expensive toys. While looking in the toy section, I noticed a small boy of about 5 years old, pressing a doll against his chest.
He kept on touching the hair of the doll and looked so sad. I wondered who was this doll for. Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him, "Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?" The old lady replied, "You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear." Then she asked him to stay here for 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.
The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I started to walk towards him and I asked him who did he want to give this
doll to. "It is the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for this Christmas, he was so sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her." I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus will bring it to her, after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. "No, Santa Claus cannot go where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mother so that she can give it to her when she goes there." His eyes were so sad while saying this. "My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mummy will also go to see God very soon, so I thought that she could carry the doll with her to give it to my sister." My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said, "I told daddy to tell mummy not to go yet. I asked him to wait until I came back from the supermarket." Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me, "I also want mummy to take this photo with her so that she will not forget me." "I love my mummy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister."
Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and took a few notes and said to the boy,
"What if we checked again, just in case if you have enough money?" "Ok," he said. "I hope that I have enough."
I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll, and even some spare money. The little boy said, "Thank you God for giving me enough money." Then he looked at me and added, "I asked yesterday before I slept for God to make sure I have enough money to buy this doll so that mummy can give it to my sister. He heard me." I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mummy, but I didn't dare ask God too much, but he gave me
enough to buy the doll and the white rose." You know, my mummy loves white rose." A few minutes later, the old lady came again and I left with my trolley.
I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local newspaper article 2 days ago, which mentioned of a drunk man in a truck who hit a car where there was one young lady and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-assisting machine, because the young lady would not be able to get out of the coma.
Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young lady had passed away. I couldn't stop myself and went to buy a bunch of white roses and I went to the mortuary where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place crying, feeling that my life had been changed forever. The love that this little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to that day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk man had taken all this away from him.

Then he changes his mind and decide to ENTER, ENTER, ENTER the whole day till he is in MICROSOFT stage.

HOW WOMEN SPEAK...

"FINE"
This is the word we use at the end of any argument that we feel we are
right about but need to shut you up. NEVER use fine to describe how a

6 days haven't been blogging cause I'm too busy with my work....me overloaded and I think I still can handle it if I work overtime.
To dearest mum, I love you even though I never seen you before, I know you are staying in Heaven watching me for what I have done for over 27 years.
Mum, I pray you will forgive me for all I have done, I pray that you and grandma will guide me alone this path and bring me to the light that deliver me from the test.

I think I drank too much hard liquor. (story has to start from Friday nite...pls stay with me)
Friday nite: Whiskey on the rock @Peak, sing a few song, then proceed to NewsRoom Bar for dance and another cup of hard liquor (treat from a friend, so is a bottom up)
Saturaday: Finish my beer at home, off and on back to office for work to monitor the server. (too free already)
Sunday: Wake up dam early to accompany my parent and auntie to Chua Cho Kang to visit my own mother which RIP at 3-4-1975 (age 24)
I break down when I talk to my mum at her grace...i miss her so much.... went to visit my dearest grandmother and grandfather at the same time.
After lunch with my relative for Dim Sim, drive back to office to check the server again and bring my documents home with another 3 can of beer. Drunk at home while doing my renovation schedule. Just got to know that I can get very high when drinking at home with favour music that fills up the room, lights off and fell asleep until 6pm.
After dinner with my vendors near the office area and rush down to Mr H's house.
whiskey + Big 2 + my favour TIBITS" = getting more high and face turn red like a char siew. (2 am)
This morning woke up, my throat is very dry and feel like eating some thing but doesn't have any appetite.
*KNOCK* *KNOCK* my cousin and younger brother is here to pick up the comic and they drag me down to makan breakfast.
Feel like vomitting after taking breakfast and rush back home to the tiolet and .....errrrr .......

Yestersday was too busy to blog, but knowing Rykiel has passed her driving, that is good news.
Today also very busy, but still manage to drop a few sentence before I doze off.
Me and her has meet again, but we have less word to say to one another. . . (really drifted apart)
sad is not becuase of i like her, she dun like me that type of crab. BUT .. the thing I dun like is that I treat people good and they dun treat me in a nice way, that's really hurts me a lot.

7:10 AM - me went downstair to buy breakfast and start the engine
7:30 AM - reach her office to drop her to work.
7:55 AM - reach my office and manage to punch card 1 hour earlier
. . . from yesterday onward, won't see her for 10 days cause she is entitled for 10 days MC.
Feel a bit better but still kind of miss her.
7 PM - meet my wife and look thru the wedding photo layout (magazine style)
Need to sleep late to prepare for tomorrow IPPT test. Guess why I sleep late ....heee ....Shit ..tomorrow need to pick up another colleague at her house around 8 am to go breakfast together .......think carefully ... i can't live without woman.
One more thing before log off, next Sat. is my home alone day again ...still planning what to do ..maybe manjong with my friend or sentosa for picnic.....hee heee beach .... i'm cuming...

Send her to hospital for minor operation on her leg. Manage to wake up at 5:30 am and pick her up at 6:20 am.
Driving along CTE early in the morning is very nice, no ERP ..no much traffic..manage to reach SGH around 6:40 am.
Her ex-colleague appear at 7 a.m and I feel like leaving 'cause I know we are not going to communicate at all. Kind of weird feeling when 2 guys and 1 sick gal in the hospital.
Sigh again ~ ~ ...... ..... . . .. go back to office and punch card @8:03 am ...getting earlier and earlier.

FYI Goodwood Park hotel is having promotion for UOB cards, either Lady's
Card or others, 1 for 1 buffet lunch and dinner.
For buffet lunch it's about $25++, while buffet dinner is $27++. For 4
persons,only pay $56 for 4 persons buffet lunch, so 1 person is only
$14, it is very worth it.
Anyone can give me a treat, me broke....

Sunday only happen once in a week, 4 times a month and 48-52 times a year. And I need to spend my 3 Sunday in a classroom that is located in Oden Tower studying SQL Server 2000.

Alamak.....forget to punch card last nite, lucky that I build up my contacts well and ask my buddy to punch for me, if not at the end of the month will be fine by that Miss V(the one look like Rykiel).
Haze is getting worse and we are adding smoke to it, feel so bad but couldn't as this is our habit.

Discover that after chioning at pub with a fever, the result is that I will catch a flu on the next day if I sleep for only a few hour. This flu has been follow me since Sat morning until now....very sick and yet couldn't take MC during probation.
Take note of one thing, my flu and running nose get worse after consuming the iDimSum at Bugis cause the tea over there is bad, DimSum is bad, View is bad, Bill is bad and no chili make it more sucks !!!!
And they put me under a super nice seat which the aircon is on top of my head ......
Tabule tahan ...too sick to continue any more.

I was commented last nite that I drove like a snake ...my temper was hot, voice too loud and etc.
This morning, I couldn't wake up and I feel very uncomfortable in my throat. Drink what and eat what also no taste.
Body is aching and my head is heavier than my leg, almost 8 am then I step out of my house..draggin myself to work.

Today is not a good day. Suddenly my mood is getting more and more bad. Dun feel like working in this environment cause I believe there is no much thing I can learn at the end-user working place. Handling vendor, asking them to reduce the price in the quotation, acting as a bad middle guy and get scolded by the bosses for not getting a better price.
Argue and argue is becoming a lifestyle in this small island, really need to release my stress that accumulated over the last 4 weeks.
Woohh! I have been working this place for 4 weeks and time is really passes so fast. But yet now, still trying to build good relationship with all the collegaue but there is still long way to go.
Sigh ~ ~ looking forward tomorrow nite to drink with some of my buddy. Really miss them and feel like crying. Really. ..not joke.

All sort of secret information can gather during this moment. Let take my today's lunch for example, 2 malay, 1 chinese and me (only guy)
They were talking about this team leader who is rude, fierce, doesn't care about team member's feeling and shouting at them across the office.
I only can ask "who are you talking about?" "which one?" ....they really can tok anything about this female how bad is she and that collegaue how rich and yet stingery .... sigh ~ ~ a man with a group of woman ....listen carefully ..is woman ...not gal ...or still can classified them as lady.

Been looking for this white wine for a long time.
This wine is well composed, hearty and balanced, yet very discreet and well made. A very refreshing wine, it keeps its flavor in the aging process.
The 2000 vintage comes from fully mature vines, planted on very steep slopes with a very low yield. It is a very floral wine with a beautiful gilded yellow color. It develops a delicate nose of floral aromas. The mouth is soft and is marked by a slightly soft character because of the residual sugars.

People people, working in a female environment maybe envy by a lot of guys, but that is not totally true.
Let take a lunch time for example, I couldn't get any favour collegaue to go lunch together. Reason behind is that if I go lunch with a single girl, the rest will gossip why a married man like me go lunch with a girl. Even some of the young collegaue (22 to 24 yrs old, a malay) commented behind me why he is getting marry soon and yet chit chating with other gals in the office.
Dam ....why there are still such conversative people in world existing...
Very disappointed but no choice, job market is too bad out there.
Really, lunch alone is very bore and feel like killing myself in the middle of the road.
Will be secretly going for pool session this Friday nite with a collegaue. ~sigh ~ L I F E.

Why does people still using old software, old method to work. Isn't now the technology is so advance that generating report can be done within a couple minute of click.
MIS report is good for sales and customer but if it is very time consuming and no appreication from, then no point doing it.
Sigh ~ ~ work work ...so busy until I forget to buy toothpaste for my family. Can they (NTXX SuperStore) deliver the things that I want to my doorstep, thought that now eShopping is available.

A lot of friend come and ask me, even some of the potential employer over the phone also shocked to hear that I'm switching from software development sector into system support (but more like end-user). . . wat can I say cause this island's economy is really bad. Guess have to stay here for 2-3 year becuase I hunt for another job, mean while get more cert. to secure myself.

Now then I know that working on alternate Saturaday is only for those who received the confirmation from the company, therefore I need to work very hard on every Sat. until November.
If Sat. afternoon got class, I will be tired like a dog (with tongue stick out) cause my work is from 9 am to 1pm and my class start from 1pm to 7pm. In the middle of the class will have 5-10 min break which I will use to breath some fresh air.
Sigh ~ ~ life is tough but still have to go on.

Another day has gone, didn't know the time gone so fast. Busy like a road runner, running from 1st floor to trouleshoot printer, printer server and run back to 2nd floor to see another system having problem. Like SingXXX cannot dial up, email cannot send etc.....
Tired and tired ....is the word I can think now, just have to remind me again not forget to punch the card when left the office, if not ...serious thing will happen on me.
Saw a lot of fierce woman in the office today and they are really hot temper like Chanxxxx ....

Tuesday weather is good, no sun big wind ....very nice. Just know that most of the men in office are hitting the retired age and I happen to one of the youngest.
Sitting opp. me is Corporate Secretary, looks like Fel, speak like Fel and flirt like Fel. Height and size is almost the same but this gal is cuter. But her age.....ooh....older than me.

7:36PM. 25/7/2002 Ang Mo Kio to Hougang, Singapore
Last nite was one of the worse, heaviest rain that I ever drive on the road
The rain so heavy, I was picking up from my wife from her office and on the way back, which we pass thru a tunnel that is just near to KC new house. I saw a black shadow dash thru the street. Rain was so heavy that i couldn't see properly so I slow down and ask my wife to look out for that person
....and he disappear in the dark, my wife told me she didn't saw anything at the that, there were only 3-4 cars under that tunnel. Sky is dark but I can see clearly becuase there is a thunder just strike. Woh. . . the gate of xxx shouldn't be open so early.
I drop her at the bus stop which is just below of our block and I drive around 30-40 km/hr back to the carpark. I stop at a cross junction waiting for green light and another thunder strike again. This time the thunder was so hard that my car was shaking when it strikes on the ground. I was shocked 'cause it is almost the same experience when I was standing 10-15 metre next to the Artiliary Gun during 1994 NDP.
Slowly, I step lightly on my accerlated back to the carpark and I park nicely as usual. Took out an umberla and walks toward Blk 4 from carpark. The distance is 15-20 m away, rains is still as heavier that my t-shirt also get wet wet. Along the path, I was looking down on the ground to lookout just incase I step on something which I dun wan to.
Suddenly ! ! ! ! !
I saw a bright light flash thru the ground.. . . ha ha ....i know it is reflection from the sky .....but dam a thunder just strike above my top .....and it is so bright like we throw a flash generade to the sky ...I was so scare and i never been afraid of thunder before.
I begin to walk faster back to my house block saw the drain was flooded like a baby swimming pool, people was stuck under the HDB to take cover, the worse of all happened.
Dam bloody new lift was short-circuited due to the heavy rain.

And do you believe it, I had already send 74 emails with resume, 3 hardcopy to the employer to look for a IT job like WebMaster, System Engineer (currently took up MCSE, MCP, MCSA, CCNA, Checkpoint), Customer Support Engineer, some sort of Govt. Sector officer and etc..and yet only got some interviews only.
Very sad, is it all employer really emphasis on the look of the person to decide whether to employ him?
Who ask me to not be good looking...sigh ~ ~ ~
